Morris Simon, 1926-2005, was Professor of Radiology at Medical School, emeritus, and Chief of Radiology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Mass. Simon came to Beth Israel in 1958 at the request of radiologist Felix Fleischner. Simon's research foucsed primarily in chest radiology, including pulmonary blood circulation and the use of thermal shape-memory alloys for devices such as stents and vena cava filters.
